Job SummaryThe CNC Machinists produces machined parts by setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine, maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records and maintaining equipment and supplies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Performs set ups of 2 & 3 & 4 Axis CNC machines, mostly mills
  • Operates multiple machines simultaneously
  • Read and follow blueprints
  • Able to modify existing programs for mills and lathe
  • Able to make a program for a new job from the drawing for mill and lathe
  • Responsible for the proper use and maintenance of tooling and fixtures
  • Inspect machines parts for visual and/or dimensional defects
  • Regularly clean, maintain equipment as needed
  • Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction
  • Completes shop work orders, inspection documentation, and daily maintenance sheets.
  • Monitors the machine to ensure proper program performance.
  • Makes off sets and adjustments to machines with moderate supervision
  • The use of precision measuring instruments (Calipers, Mic's, CMM's, Dial Indicators, etc.)
  • Able to design and fabricate tooling / fixtures
Basic Qualifications
  • 4 years of experience machining with CNC Mills, preferably with vertical HAAS
Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensional Tolerance. Understanding of cutting tool Geometry..
**Work Arrangements/Requirements **
Fully site based
Must be willing to work Overtime

The starting pay is $32 with a 10% shift differential pay. The pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
