Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including PLCs, servo motors, and VFDs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PLC programming, wiring, and CNC machines.
- Create and implement preventive maintenance plans to enhance equipment reliability.
- Conduct electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Utilize hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge to maintain and repair relevant systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics for effective troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and communication.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and meet physical requirements of the job.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- Strong skills in PLC troubleshooting and programming.
- Experience with servo motors, VFDs, and industrial automation equipment.
- Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics systems.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members.
- Mechanical assembly skills and shop math proficiency.
