The ideal Plant Superintendent candidate should help:
- Drive and develop the culture of Safety First
- Establish and implement operational changes, standard practices.
- Directs, leads, and supervises a team.
- Help manage scrap sorting equipment.
- Verifies inventory accuracy of raw materials, finished goods, and production/maintenance supplies.
- Ensures compliance to budget and production priorities, schedules, monitors production out and quality data, and oversees compiling of reports for management reviews.
- Manage employee timecards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain training procedures.
- Maintain the MVP system by keeping track of planned maintenance projects, downtime, and control maintenance spend.
If you are a results driven leader who:
- Has a High School Diploma or Ged (required), a Bachelor degree in Business Management, Engineering, or Operations Management or at least 5-7 years of equivalent experience,
- Has a working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
- Is proficient in computer usage and microsoft office
- Has proven ability to function with minimal supervison, while also leading others towards project goals
- Is results and detailed oriented
- Has experience working with secondary Aluminum & scrap sorting.
- Has a strong manufacturing maintenance background
- Has a working knowledge of aluminum process
