Job Title: Payroll Specialist

Job brief:

We are looking for an experienced payroll specialist to be responsible for weekly processing of in-house payroll for several business entities.

Responsibilities:

· Process weekly payroll accurately and timely using our payroll software

· Maintain detailed records of payroll data, including hours worked, vacation days, bonuses, and deductions

· Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations regarding payroll taxes, wage and hour laws, and other relevant regulations

· Handle all payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve any discrepancies in timely manner

· Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is up to date and in compliance with legal requirements

· Manage employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries

· Work with internal teams and hiring managers to assist with onboarding by prioritizing hiring needs by emergency and department

· Prepare payroll reports for management and provide payroll-related analysis when needed

Qualifications:

· Must have experience with Payroll, preferably in hospitality environment

· This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

· Proficient in payroll software

· High degree of proficiency with MS Excel

· Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Strong problem solving/analytical abilities

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

· Previous experience with international staffing and recruiting (J1s in particular)
