Job DescriptionThis is a full-time, benefitted position in Springfield, Virginia. The hours are Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
No weekends, holidays, or call. Free on-site parking! Ask me if you are eligible for a sign-on bonus! Who you are: As an Ultrasound Tech for Fairfax Radiology Centers (FRC), you are the calming force when our patients are in crisis. Your professionalism, empathy, and technical prowess helps our patients have a positive experience. You are at your best when our patients need you the most.
What you’ll do:
  • Independently perform clinical sonography examinations
  • Confidently use your sonographic skills to find, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to patient for anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic information and images
  • Consistently acquire high quality images
  • Evaluate and communicate anatomy and pathology to radiologist
  • Maintain good relations with patients. Put forth a continuous positive, professional, and caring attitude with all patients and their families.
What you’ll bring:
  • New grads in Ultrasound are welcome
  • 1 years’ experience in general Ultrasound is highly preferred
  • Current RDMS certification
  • Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
