Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Handle guest inquiries and provide accurate information about the hotel's facilities and services
- Assist guests with reservations, room assignments, and check-out procedures
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or personnel
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Perform night audit duties, including reconciling daily transactions and preparing reports for management
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using phone systems and demonstrating proper phone etiquette
- Knowledge of hotel operations, including guest services and front desk procedures
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, especially if fluent in languages commonly spoken by hotel guests
- Familiarity with hospitality management software is preferred
- Ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism
- Strong problem-solving skills to address guest concerns effectively
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in handling guest reservations and payments
