NATURE OF WORK: The Educator is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, teaching and evaluating the educational activities for the Health Careers course. The Health Careers educator will work closely with Illinois Eastern Community College and local high schools.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of accredited school of nursing, and hold a current Illinois RN license; BSN required. Must have sound knowledge of general nursing theory and practice, familiarity with organizational functions, policies, regulations, and procedures of the nursing service department. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Must be a CPR certified, and BLS instructor preferred.
