Job Summary: Surgical team member who scrubs for operative procedures, invasive and non-invasive procedures. Provides appropriate instrumentation, supplies and equipment as needed in the surgery suite. Performs assigned duties in the Sterile Processing Department according to professional standards as well as established surgery policies and procedures. Demonstrates a high degree of concern about people. Takes time to care and show the understanding of the expected behaviors identified in the organization's customer relation statement. Become a committed team player in a very team oriented environment. Is committed to patient and family care and satisfaction.

Education/Experience: It is highly preferred that they have completed an Operating Room Technician program and passed the examination or hold an RN or LPN license. Previous Healthcare experience preferred. May receive on the job training under the supervision of the Surgery Department Nurse Manager.
