EXAMPLES OF DUTIESUnder general supervision and direction, the Management Analyst performs professional administrative, financial, budgetary, statistical, and other analytical management and legislative analyses in support of departmental or Districtwide activities, functions, and programs; oversees all records management for the District; acts as the project manager including the planning, coordination, analysis, and development of special projects and studies that have District-wide impact; recommends action and assists in formulating policy, procedure, workflow designs, and legislative positions and in budget development and implementation; performs administrative clerk duties such as compile, prepare, and proofread the Board agenda, transcribe and proofread minutes, meeting summaries and correspondence regarding Board actions.This is a professional level position that is responsible for a wide range of complex duties that requires a high level of independence to organize, plan, and complete work to meet deadlines and expected outcomes. The type of work varies depending on the assignment and tasks assigned.This position will be involved in a variety of projects including, but not limited to, some of the projects summarized below: Electronic records management including understanding, testing, refining, and documenting an electronic records destruction process that utilizes a software system (Gimmal) that interfaces with SharePoint and reports from Microsoft Access.Clerk duties including Board Agenda preparation, resolution review and organization, and policy review.SharePoint projects including defining standards for library setup for District Departments and gathering input to help transition records from the server to SharePoint and reviewing unclassified/uncategorized electronic records.Reviewing opportunities to streamline and automate District-wide processes and procedures.Budget preparation including analysis, forecasting, schedule preparation, document update, and implementing requirements from GFOA’s Budget Award Program.Gathering input and requirements in preparation for a website upgrade.To review the complete job description, click the link below: Management Analyst Job Description

The interview will consist of an examination and panel interview where candidates will present the results of the examination and be asked interview questions by the panel.
