FairPoint Communications is Hiring a Healthcare Business Process Analyst - Contract Position Near Raleigh, NC
DescriptionThis is a 3-month contract opportunity with the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) - State of North Carolina. This hybrid position requires candidates to be local to the Raleigh area. The role offers a W-2 rate of up to $35/hour. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or hold a Green Card and possess excellent communication skills. Responsibilities
Conduct stakeholder analysis.
Perform market research and analysis.
Identify and document detailed current and future state process workflows using BPM standards.
Develop context diagrams, functional decomposition diagrams, and process workflows.
Upload and maintain all diagrams in the Orbus Infinity iServer tool.
Document gap analysis and develop business process models, use cases, wireframes, entity relationship diagrams, data dictionaries, and system context diagrams.
Gather, develop, document, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements while maintaining a Requirement Traceability matrix.
Assist Business and Project Managers in constructing procurement documents.
Build business, stakeholder, solution, and transition requirements.
Prepare and maintain documentation and artifacts, including analysis, reports, and user documentation in accordance with PMO PM and BA methodology.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Portfolio Managers, developers, and end users to ensure application designs meet business requirements.
Provide business analysis deliverables as input to procurement documents and assist in writing procurement documentation as required.
Perform functional and integration testing, including developing test scenarios and cases, and provide UAT support.
Support required system go-live activities.
Author and prepare meeting minutes for distribution to various audiences.
Create user stories and acceptance criteria, and author other Agile documents and deliverables.

Demonstrated experience in documenting functional requirements and technical specifications for existing and new applications.

Comprehensive knowledge of work requirements, demonstrating an understanding of advanced principles, theories, and practices associated with Business Analysis and PMI PMBOKĀ® Guide and Standards.
Experience advising customers on strategies, alternatives, and implications of application customization and interface designs.
High-level understanding of application programming, database, and system design.
Ability to manage complex assignments with multiple work streams and aggressive timelines.
Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) concepts and processes.
Knowledge of the Orbus Infinity iServer tool.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and Microsoft Project.
Proficiency in Agile processes, SCRUM, and Kanban software tools.
Functional understanding of SharePoint end user experience, sites, libraries, lists, and groups.
Strong data analysis and migration experience across various data platforms, including mainframe, RDBMS, relational, and flat-file data systems.
