Role OverviewAs a Business Systems Analyst (BSA), you will be a key player in analyzing complex business processes, eliciting and documenting requirements, reviewing BSA documentation, and facilitating project-related meetings. You will collaborate closely with project managers, developers, quality assurance analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Requirements
- 8-12 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in IT development projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven track record in analyzing and documenting complex business processes.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Experience in reverse engineering Legacy COBOL/Visual Basic/MS Access applications.
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes and methodologies.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and modeling techniques.
- Ability to conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to elicit requirements.
- Experience in translating business requirements into detailed system specifications.
- Skilled in creating clear and comprehensive documentation, including process and data flow diagrams.
- Proficiency in business modeling and analysis tools like Microsoft Visio and Lucidchart.
