Overview

A financial position reports directly to the Senior Pastor and collaborates closely with the church treasurer's, ministry staff and finance committee.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to the following)

• Process transactions, checks, and payroll
• Process contributions and donations received by the church
• Prepare financial statements and manage bills
• Coordinate tax filings and create annual giving records
• Provide reporting of account balances to ministry leaders
• Process donor memorial acknowledgments

Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and office equipment (computers, copiers, scanners, phones, etc.)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with financial management systems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Associate's degree or equivalent experience
• Previous financial or bookkeeping experience

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
