Fairweather is Hiring a Contingent Labor Coordinator Near Anchorage, AK

Overview:

JOB SUMMARY:
Provide general coordination efforts to support efficient operation of the contingent labor contract, representing our client. Activities to include but not limited to; recruiting, communicating and correspondence with contingent candidates & client representatives, responding to phone calls and emails promptly, directing payroll and personnel issues as needed, to support the contract. This role requires an individual who possess the skillsets of customer service, effective communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

LOCATION:
Fairweather, LLC Office- Anchorage, AK
SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Managing career opportunities within the Fairweather careers portal, including posting/updating and removal of positions in relation to contingent positions
  • Review and recruitment of contingent candidates
  • Coordination and communication between both candidates and client representative
  • Maintain consistent communication with client Representative
  • Confer with Human Resource department to provide assistance as needed
  • Confer with Health Safety & Environmental Manager to provide assistance on current and upcoming training/screening needs, to maintain contract compliance
  • Assist in timesheet questions & concerns
  • Perform a detailed and thorough timesheet review each payroll cycle
  • Perform a detailed and thorough invoice review
  • Assist Accounting in obtaining backup documentation that supports contractual obligations
  • Assist Fairweather Management in Audit requirements
  • Interface with key personnel to ensure objectives align with expectations
  • Provide position status and analysis
  • Other administrative tasks as needed and assigned to support the organization
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma (or GED)
  • College degree in a related field (preferred but not required)
  • Three to five (3-5) years of business-related experience in an administrative role
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Previous experience within Oil & Gas industry
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and office administration
  • Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications, including the ability to create and maintain spreadsheets, word processing, publishing, calendaring, emails, and PowerPoint programs at a highly proficient level utilizing MS programs: Excel, Word, Publisher, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of email applications, such as Microsoft Outlook
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Strong communication skills and extremely self-motivated when managing communication channels
  • Reliability – good attendance is essential
  • Ability to work well alone, in teams, and in diverse populations
  • Ability to meet and establish good working relationships with people
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and complete objectives
  • Ability to use discretion with sensitive information and confidential correspondence
  • Highly organized and capable of creating organizational systems that others easily utilize

Working Conditions:

Physical Demands:

This role will have to spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers, which can cause muscle strain. This role may also have to do some light lifting of supplies and materials from time to time.

Working Conditions:

The office may be a busy facility. This role may have to manage a number of projects at one time, and may be interrupted frequently to meet the needs and requests of employees, staff, visitors, clients, contractors, and the general public. This role may find the environment to be busy, noisy, and will need excellent organizational and time and stress management skills to complete the required tasks. This position is not authorized for remote work unless pre-arranged with supervisor.
