Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating various programs, particularly in the behavioral health sector. This role requires strong administrative skills, program management expertise, and the ability to work with diverse individuals.

The Program Coordinator must be passionate about the work we do, compassionate for those we serve, and efficient in their work to maximize our impact as an organization. The Program Coordinator is responsible for developing effective programs, overseeing activities and details, and adapting services based on feedback. With a commitment to service, the Program Coordinator strives to create positive experiences for our families based on assessing needs, collecting feedback, and then repeating best practices for future programs.

Objectives of this role

  • Monitor every step of our programs for successful completion
  • Engage and develop volunteers through enrichment opportunities
  • Communicate effectively with families, volunteers, service providers, and supporters to establish trust and promote transparency
  • Utilize volunteers’ time and talents to maximize the impact of programs and services
  • Identify best practices and procedures to inform future programs

Responsibilities

  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment
  • Develop and maintain a positive rapport with families and volunteers
  • Assist in marketing and outreach efforts as appropriate
  • Train, manage, and evaluate volunteer services
  • Ensure that social, emotional, and financial supports are provided equitably and consistently to our families
  • Communicate with all businesses and volunteers that work directly with our families
  • Coordinate family fun events as needed
  • Maintain accurate records for families receiving services
  • Establish good working relationships and collaborative arrangements with local treatment facilities and schools
  • Conduct program related presentations for referral sources
  • Create and distribute monthly newsletters for families and volunteers
  • Representing the organization at community activities and events to enhance the organization’s community profile and share information on programming and events.
  • Oversee regular evaluation of program through surveys and observations

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $32,136.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 per week
