We are seeking a motivated and experienced Family Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. •Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division.
•Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
•Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations, and provide strategic guidance throughout their cases.
•Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in court hearings and trials.
•Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure comprehensive case management.
•Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
•Stay current on developments in family law and related areas to provide informed and up-to-date counsel to clients.
Qualifications
•Sense of Humor
•Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
•Active MD Bar Membership
•Minimum 5 years' experience
•Proven track record of handling family law cases, including litigation experience
•Strong knowledge of Family Law and Legal Research skills
•Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills
•Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
•Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
•Demonstrated commitment to client service and ethical practice
•Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively
•Experience with mediation and alternative dispute resolution methods.
•Familiarity with local family court procedures and judges.
•Bilingual abilities are a plus.
