FAITH RECOVERY IN LONG BEACH IS HIRING A PROGRAM DIRECTOR!!!!

Job Overview:
Faith Recovery is seeking a Program Director to oversee their Substance Use Disorder Program in Long Beach, CA. Included in these responsibilities are: 1) the development and maintenance of a high-quality treatment program; 2) the development and implementation of a comprehensive community relations program; and 3) strategic planning, program administration, and development.

Responsibilities:

• Admits new clients by reviewing records and applications and conducting intakes utilizing SUD forms and assessment tools
• Performs as liaison between Program, outside referral partners; communicating information and needs appropriately
• Supports Faith Recovery missions, goals and objectives
• Provides leadership and direction in accordance with DHCS and Joint Commission guidelines
• Provides clinical supervision for Program staff
• Develops, implements and updates all policies and procedures for the Program
• Ensure that the Program meets and maintains all federal, state, local and accrediting bodies’ regulations and standards
• Participates in assessing and reassessing the program needs of the clients
• Supervises all client care and sets guidelines for accurately reporting and recording of symptoms, reactions, and progress
• Develops processes to audit and coordinate ongoing education to ensure all staff are trained on proper documentation of all aspects of the client’s care
• Recruits, interviews, and selects qualified staff for the Program.
• Provides for professional growth and development of staff through identification of needs, development of individual training plans and participation in training programs
• Defines goals and objectives of the treatment program under the direction of ownership
• Collaborates with clinical staff in coordinating and managing the medical and psychosocial treatment plans
• Gather required information, to effectively case-build, and collaborate with members of the Program Team to ensure optimization of each client's coverage and benefits
• Coordinate, and complete Initial, concurrent, Peer, and retrospective Utilization Reviews in a timely manner to ensure continuous coverage
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
• Assure quality of care

Qualifications

• CADC II Certification
• Minimum of 3 years of supervising experience, with a focus on mental health
• Proven track record in program development and management
• Strong relationship management skills and experience in administrative tasks
• Proficiency in budgeting and understanding of behavioral health practices
• Previous experience in program management is highly desirable
