Summary:
The FRPS Mid-Level provider (PMHNP) will be responsible for the comprehensive clinical evaluation of a wide variety of medical patients while under the supervisory capacity of the attending Physician. Responsibilities:
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Demonstrates ability to appropriately modify approach and procedures to meet needs of age/diversity of population served for the following age groups:
Adult (18 years 65 years)
Geriatric (over 65 years)
2. Performs all responsibilities/duties required by Faith Regional Physician Services as defined in the scope of practice, to assure that the unique nature of the patient is addressed. This includes but is not limited to the age of the patient served.
3. Promotes organizational mission, vision and values. Demonstrates respect and regard for dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and co-workers to ensure a professional, responsible and courteous environment. Maintains a high level of professional responsibility and performance outlined in Faith Regional Health Services Performance Standards. Promotes effective working relationships and works effectively as part of a department team (inter- and intradepartmental) to facilitate the departments/clinics ability to meet its goals and objectives.
4. Maintains current knowledge/certification/licensure per organization policy. Pursues professional growth and development.
5. Functions as role model for current and new staff.
6. Completes all required safety training programs and can describe his or her responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, and specific job-related hazards.
7. Understands and adheres to Faith Regional Health Services Corporate Compliance Plan, Personal Conduct Policy, Safe Environment policy, Grievance Process, Confidentiality, Safety & Security, Infection Control, HIPAA and other departmental and organizational policies, procedures and guidelines.
8. Must be able to remain awake and alert during working hours. Physical presence at facility is required during scheduled working hours to perform job functions.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
Hours will be dependent on patient census and workload. Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, to include after-hours and weekends as necessary.

The requirements listed below must be representative of the knowledge, skills, minimum education, training, licensure, experience, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION:
Graduate of an accredited program of study required.
EDUCATION FIELD OF STUDY:
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
If Nurse Practitioner, current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license; or if Physician Assistant, current, valid Physician Assistant (PA) license required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) obtained within one full month from date of hire required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within one year from date of hire required.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) obtained within one year from date of hire required.
EXPERIENCE:
3 years of previous experience in field preferred.
SKILLS:
Language Skills Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language required.
Computer Skills Ability to use computers and related technology efficiently required.
Customer Service required.
Time Management Ability to manage time and tasks efficiently required.
Interpersonal Skills Ability to socially interact and communicate with others in a positive and professional manner required.
Other Certifications:
Psychiatric and/or Behavioral Health Certification onlyfor the Psychiatry Clinic required.
Proficiency in performing comprehensive history and physical examination required.
Experience in formulating targeted assessments and clinical plans for a broad variety of medical patients required.
