Position Summary:

The Cash Posting Supervisor is responsible for over-seeing the duties that fall within the Cash Posting department.

Essential Functions:

The Revenue Cycle Supervisor must be able to adequately perform essential duties in an organized and efficient manner for all phases of the Cash Posting Department. These duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Oversee the Posting and balancing bulk payments from all payor classes to patient accts for EFT and Check received.

·Professionally answer questions as they relate to Cash Posting.

·Ensuring the correct adjustments and write offs are being used within the cash posting process.

·Ensure the Cash Posting department makes the soft close as well as month end balancing all accounts.

· Ensuring Zero Balance Posting is completed accurately.

· Ensure all other Cash Posting activity is done accurately and timely.

·Courteously respond to a high volume of emails in a timely manner.

· Process PTO requests based off departmental needs.

· Monitor, track and record daily productivity of the staff members.

· Oversee Posting Credit Card transactions once the money is in the bank.

·Understand the billing/revenue cycle and associated KPI’s set for the department.

· Work special projects as they arise.

· Administer disciplinary action when appropriate.

· Conduct and perform annual reviews.

· Know and understand how to troubleshoot and problem solve billing related issues.

·Other duties as assigned by Revenue Integrity Management.

Qualifications: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required. The individual in this position must possess the following qualifications:

·This position is based out of the Mesa office. Remote with travel may be available at Management’s discretion.

·Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

·Working knowledge of KPI’s/performance measures and the impact of revenue cycle on them.

· Excellent analytical skills and quality orientation-strives for continuous improvement in all activities to consistently achieve excellent results and meet or exceed department expectations.

·Must have knowledge of medical terminology.

·Must have willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel approximately 30% or more.

· Understand the billing/revenue cycle and associated KPI’s set for the department.

· Overall leadership skills, including relationship building and fostering excellent achievement through teamwork.

· Must be self-starter with strong individual motivational skills.

·Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals, from field teams to management, as well as external customers.

· Excellent ability to communicate and work cohesively across Department lines.

· Highly dependable and able to meet internal deadlines consistently.

· Flexible and adaptable, willing, and able to adjust to rapidly changing priorities in a growing company.

·Must always maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.

Education Requirements:

The individual in this position must possess the following education requirements:

·Bachelor’s Degree and/or a minimum of 3 years of Ambulance Billing experience and/or past Supervisor experience.

Preferred Education:

· NAAC CAC Certification
