We are currently looking for a full-time Senior Consultant to join our team at our headquarters in Alexandria, VA. The ideal candidate brings a background in consulting with experience in digital mortgage, lender operations, and/or MERS compliance to the role. They will interface directly with clients and help foster the development of the practice.

Senior Consultant Responsibilities: (Including, but not limited to)

The Senior Consultant will play a key role in the Falcon Capital Advisors Digital Mortgage practice group, which provides strategic advice and consulting services relating to digital mortgage transformation and implementation and MERS compliance to lenders, technology providers, mortgage industry trade organizations, and government agencies.

• Leads client engagements and tasks from scoping and planning through execution and delivery, meeting client expectations and deadlines.
• Ensures all deliverables and work products meet the high-quality standards of the firm and its clients.
• Evaluates complex business processes, policies, and procedures to define current state and develop future state design in the context of digital mortgage implementation and transformation.
• Reviews and assesses lender operations and digital mortgage technologies (e.g., eClosing systems, eVaults) against mortgage industry standards and requirements (e.g., MISMO, MERS).
• Conducts comprehensive research and analysis on mortgage industry topics such as eNotes, eClosings, eVaults, and eRecording.
• Develops and delivers training materials such as PowerPoint presentations, user guides, job aids, and workflows.

Requirements/Skills for the Senior Consultant:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3 - 5 years’ consulting experience having led or played a key role in client engagements with 1 - 3 years’ mortgage industry experience. Preferred 1 to 3 years’ digital mortgage and/or mortgage technology experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, having the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely to internal and external audiences at all organizational levels.
• Displays creativity in approaching challenges, offering fresh perspectives and innovative solutions.
• Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work within established timelines.
• Proactively engages in problem-solving and initiative-taking to drive project success.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively, consistently delivering high-quality work on client-facing and internal projects.
