Falls is Hiring an Accounting Clerk/Receptionist Near Cleveland, OH

There are two aspects to the position – a detailed-oriented accounting clerk to support the administrative team and a receptionist that has a pleasant and welcoming personality and a positive attitude. The dual role requires a blend of entry level finance skills coupled with general office experience. The position will require being in the office Monday through Friday. The position will also require someone who can multi-task, meet deadlines, have an attention to detail, and possess a whatever it takes attitude. We need a polished person who is dependable, courteous, professional and adaptable. Responsibilities Include: Accounts Payable: Key vendor invoices and process small payment run, process and assume responsibilities for a company purchasing card Accounts Receivable: Perform daily cash receipt processing System maintenance: Set up new clients, vendors and various other items in our accounting software Sales and use tax: track, prepare and pay State of Ohio quarterly use tax report and account for all Ohio sales tax discrepancies by preparing accounts payable voucher. Reporting: Pull various daily and weekly reports from our banks and accounting software Act as receptionist which includes pre-registering guests, greeting visitors, answering phones, opening and closing the agency offices. Also set up rooms for meetings and work with the building landlord on any issues. Perform office tasks including ordering office supplies, mail distribution, Fed Ex package receipt and set up for delivery, minor repairs to the agency’s copiers and setting up/cleaning up client meetings. Oversee the agency’s storage and record retention room. Submit work orders to our landlord for any facility problems or needs. Qualifications Include: High school or equivalent Proven work experience in an office Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, willing to learn other non-complex technology, as needed Salary Range: Commiserate with Experience and Expertise.
