Family Guidance Centers is Hiring a Recovery Oriented Systems of Care Coordinator - Springfield Near Springfield, IL

Job DescriptionFamily Guidance Centers, Inc. (FGC), a not-for-profit behavioral healthcare organization, treats and prevents substance use disorder, as well as an array of other related problems. Family Guidance Centers, Inc seeks to support the behavioral health of individuals, families, and communities through our commitment to innovation, accountability, and compassionate care to facilitate positive, lasting change.Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Coordinate monthly Sangamon County ROSC meetings and committee meetings, including managing in-person and electronic meeting invitations, taking meeting notes, and managing invitation lists.
  • Prepare reports on Sangamon County ROSC activities and data for required community and funder reporting.
  • Support event planning and implementation for Sangamon County ROSC activities.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of the Sangamon County ROSC Strategic Plan.
  • Create and distribute flyers, posters, and promotional materials related to Sangamon County ROSC meetings and activities.
  • Liaise with community members and stakeholders in the recovery space in Sangamon County to develop resource lists, referral systems, information sharing pathways, and relationships.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pmStart Date: ASAPPay Rate: $19.00 - $22.00 per hourFamily Guidance Centers, Inc. is a Drug Free Environment (including THC and/or CBD).
DCFS clearance required.

Required ExperienceEducation and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience in behavioral health, community health outreach, substance use harm reduction, withdrawal management programs, medication-assisted treatment, and/or community relations required. Familiarity with Sangamon County recovery support systems required. Certification as a Recovery Support Specialist or education as a Community Health Worker preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Current drivers license and vehicle insurance.
