Family Help Center is Hiring an Infant/Toddler Teacher Assistant Near Buffalo, NY

Children’s Center for Success at Family Help Center is seeking a full time Teacher Assistant to join our devoted team of childcare professionals! We are a full service, high quality childcare center licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services for children 6 weeks through 12 years of age.

At the Children’s Center for Success we understand the importance of a strong curriculum and educational programming. We have a team of caregivers that are skilled, enthusiastic, and compassionate. All teachers are trained in the most up to date trauma informed practices and Pyramid model curriculum.

We are seeking reliable, energetic, professional, and driven Teaching Assistants to join our close-knit, family like team! The ideal candidate has a passion for children, patience, a positive attitude, organizational skills, a love for learning and a fun spirit!

Teaching Assistants assist in implementation of daily activities and performance of daily routines. All required training hours and certifications must be kept current. All staff are to work together to ensure compliance with all New York State OCFS rules and regulations. Teacher’s aides will provide support, respect, encouragement, and supervision while engaging with the children and the rest of the teaching team. All teaching staff and assistant will be required to maintain friendly, personable, and professional communication and relationships with parents.

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years old.

High School diploma or its equivalent

Must be able to work between 7 am- 5 pm

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour based upon experience

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
