Family Practice on the River is Hiring a Medical Receptionist Near Kennebunk, ME

Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary payments
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Assist with medical scheduling and coordination of patient appointments
- Provide administrative support to healthcare providers and staff
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming

Experience:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as eClinicalWorks or Eaglesoft
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of office procedures and front desk operations
