Our Youth Mentoring program is a unique opportunity serving a state-wide initiative to provide mentoring support to youth involved who have been identified as benefiting from a mentee/mentor relationship. Research indicates that youth engaged in a consistent mentor relationship can develop a positive adult-youth connection which helps to foster resiliency and hope, especially in vulnerable and system involved youth.Mentors are needed now to work with youth in the Greater Bridgeport Area!

• Weekly visits; minimum of 4 hours per month
• Initial appllication with background screening
• Mentor training & support provided throughout match
• Must have valid drivers license

This is truly a rewarding opportunity to enrich & inspire a young person!
There is currently a high need for both bilingual and male applicants. All are welcome! This is a volunteer position.
