PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Demonstrate a positive, professional attitude.
• Assist Site Supervisors with programming, daily activities, and scheduling.
• Help provide and nurture a family-centered program.
• Monitor, interact, and encourage participation with youth.
• Maintain safety and security and encourage them to make responsible choices.
• Ensure that all program areas are clean, organized, and safe.
• Interact, engage, and keep families updated.
• Assist in implementing accreditation and licensing standards.
• Attend and participate in team meetings, weekly site supervisor meetings, and staff development opportunities.
• Interact with families.
• Inform families of the day and any program events or happenings.
• Communicate, cooperate, and be respectful of fellow team members

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED, 1 years of previous experience working with children.

OTHER CREDENTIALS / CERTIFICATIONS:
Basic Life Support (CPR) and Basic First Aid certifications are required at the time of employment or to be completed within 60 days of starting employment.
