Position Summary: The Clinical Program Director for SafeCare and Community Health Team is responsible for the administrative and clinical management of the programs. SafeCare is an evidence based parent coaching and training model for families with children 0- 5 years of age. Community Health Team is a multi Disciplinary team which provides intensive short-term services carefully crafted to support families with complex needs as they navigate intricate systems of care. The Directors duties includes supervising program staff and over-seeing the delivery of evidence based and informed services as well as recruiting, training, and supporting program staff. Responsible for overall program leadership including establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with the DCYF FSU and CRU (Central Referral Unit) staff. Works closely with the FSRI’s Billing Staff to ensure timely and accurate billing for the programs. Clinically reviews and approves all program assessments, service plans, and reports. Covers for program staff as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in human services (psychology, social work, marriage and family, etc.) and independent level RI Mental Health license (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT) is required.
  • At least 5 years program management and staff supervision experience is required.
  • Experience implementing trauma-focused, evidence-based treatments is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and auto insurance also required.
  • Bilingual skills also preferred.
  • Bilingual skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.

Physical Requirements: This position requires residential and community visits, employees in this position must have the ability to:

  • Travel to and from clients' residence, community locations and office site, which could include using walkways, stairs and/or elevators.
  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
