Description

Position Summary:We are seeking a highly organized professional who is confident, self-assured, and proud of their individuality to be our Grants Project Manager (GPM). The GPM will ensure the success of the entire grants team by coordinating and managing teams to develop and win major grant solicitations that support the mission of FSRI and our affiliates. The GPM will also collaborate with other members of the Grants team to achieve their goals.

Qualifications: 

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Stellar writing skills; clear and persuasive verbal communication skills
  • Evidence of commitment to the work of the non-profit sector
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards in a diverse workplace
  • Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people
  • Strong knowledge of the grant administration lifecycle
  • Experience in developing high quality grant submissions – including federal, state, and local proposals and/or major foundations.
  • Action-oriented, adaptable, and innovative in thinking and solutions approach
  • Progressive experience in successful development programs and knowledge of "best practices" in grant administration
  • Ability to set and achieve strategic objectives
  • Excellent computer and research skills, with proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. as well as federal grants systems such as grants.gov and JustGrants
  • Knowledge of Monday.com, not required, but a plus
  • Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • A criminal record check is required
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • Bilingual skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
