Famous Supply is Hiring an Inventory Control Manager Near Maple, OH
Note: Famous Supply Warehouse associates will handle large products such as water heaters, furnaces and showers.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Manage and control inventory in the distribution center through the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Resolve inventory inaccuracies
- Conduct root-cause analysis to create long-term, sustainable inventory accuracy
- Perform inventory accuracy updates
- Manage inventory team with Operational Excellence in mind
- Review forward pick slots for correct SKU contents
- Maintain new SKU forward pick slots based on item velocity (actual or projected)
- Report to management any safety or maintenance issues
- Informs management of any significant inventory discrepancies and backorders
- Supports the corporate and branch Equal opportunity policies and practices
- Conducts monthly 1-2-1's with direct reports
- Review and approve inventory adjustments
- Manage all inventory reports and dashboards
- Strong communication skills
- Problem solving
- Experience working in a warehouse
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand on feet for majority of an 8-hour day
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership
- Forklift experience
- Building industry experience and requisite product knowledge
- Experience using RF Scanners
