Role SummaryFanatics Collectibles is looking for a Product Strategy rockstar to help us shape the evolution and growth of our global trading card product portfolio. This Product Strategy Manager will report to the Sr. Director of Global Product Strategy (who reports directly into the SVP of Global Product Development) and will simultaneously own and/or engage with several high-impact initiatives. Given the Product Strategy team’s end-to-end mandate, this role can expect to both 1) own evaluation and strategic definition of product portfolio & innovation initiatives as well as 2) drive execution and ultimately success. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with top-notch analytical skills, a demonstrated propensity for solving difficult problems, and a clear team-first mindset. Candidates with a passion for sports, culture, & entertainment will likely find themselves a strong cultural fit.

Within the first 3 months, you will…
- Take end-to-end ownership of a high-impact product initiative and, together with the Sr. Director of Global Product Strategy, work cross-functionally to ensure project success
- Independently drive execution of key portfolio strategy initiatives – e.g., building and aligning customer archetypes to our portfolio of products to hone value proposition and improve commercial viability, help define global product drop calendar / GTM timeline, shape strategy for newly acquired IP, etc.
- Collaborate with the Product Strategy team and leadership to size and prioritize new product innovation opportunities on the roadmap
- Provide analytical insights, report findings, deliver recommendations, and present progress updates to the SVP of Product Development, President of Trading Cards, CEO, and other key leaders/executives
- Engage with a wide array of end-consumers and channel partners to better understand industry dynamics and refine product portfolio accordingly
- Become a subject matter expert in all things Trading Cards!
- 4-7 years of experience, with a preference for Management Consulting, Strategy, Finance / Accounting, or Biz Ops roles
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, accounting or similar preferred
- Strong quantitative modelling & analytical skills, excellent written & verbal communication skills, strong financial acumen
- Experience managing small, dynamic working teams
- Extremely comfortable working with and presenting to high-ranking leaders at the VP level
- Team-first mindset, with a passion for solving highly complex problems together
- Subject matter expertise in trading cards and collecting is not required, but definitely a plus!
