Position: Senior Director of Brand Strategy, Programs, and Influencer EngagementThe Senior Director of Brand Strategy, Programs, and Influencer Engagement is a pivotal leadership role within Fanatics, responsible for orchestrating a comprehensive brand strategy that resonates across all facets of our digital and physical presence. This role is instrumental in integrating strategic marketing initiatives, innovative brand programs, and influential partnerships to strengthen Fanatics' brand equity and fan engagement worldwide.
Located within the dynamic Global Brand Team and reporting directly to the Global Head of Brand, your role is at the heart of Fanatics' brand evolution and brand expansion. You are charged with crafting a cohesive and dynamic brand strategy that spans digital and physical realms, connecting deeply with our global community of sports fans. You will architect and execute innovative brand programs that not only resonate with our audience but also set new industry standards for fan engagement and loyalty. Central to your role is the strategic development and management of our influencer program, where you will forge and nurture partnerships with key sports influencers, athletes, and content creators to amplify our brand's presence and message. Your leadership will ensure that all initiatives — from influencer collaborations to targeted brand programs — are seamlessly integrated and aligned with Fanatics' overall business objectives, driving brand awareness, and fostering a passionate fan base. Through your visionary approach and strategic acumen, you will elevate Fanatics' brand identity and create unforgettable experiences for sports fans worldwide, reinforcing Fanatics' position as a leader in the sports merchandise and fan engagement industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Influencer Program Leadership: Spearhead the strategic development and execution of a comprehensive influencer program, establishing a strategy that integrates with the overarching brand strategy, identifying potential partnerships, and measuring success through clear metrics.
  • Brand Strategy Development: Design and implement integrated brand strategies to elevate brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty across various platforms, ensuring these strategies effectively communicate Fanatics' values, mission, and objectives.
  • Innovative Program Initiation: Launch brand programs from the ground up, aligning them with Fanatics' global brand strategy to bolster brand health and market position, with a particular focus on digital innovation and fan engagement.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales, and Customer Service, to ensure brand consistency and optimize the impact of marketing efforts. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of new programs into the existing brand ecosystem.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for brand growth and differentiation. Utilize this analysis to design frameworks for new brand initiatives that enhance brand visibility, engagement, and reputation.
  • Program Management and Evaluation: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans for the launch of new brand programs, overseeing all phases from concept through execution and post-launch analysis. Implement a process for continuous evaluation and refinement of brand programs, ensuring they adapt to changing market conditions and align with brand evolution.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of marketing and brand professionals, encouraging creativity, innovation, and excellence in all aspects of their work. Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, influencers, and external agencies to amplify our brand presence and reach.
  • Metrics and KPIs: Establish Brand Health Model, proxy metrics and KPIs to assess the success of brand programs, using data to inform future strategies and initiatives. Ensure that new programs are innovative, on-brand, and effectively reach target audiences, driving brand awareness and loyalty.
  • Fan Data Insights: Utilize fan data and analytics to inform strategy development, gaining insights into fan preferences and behaviors to drive targeted brand programs and campaigns.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in brand and marketing, with a proven track record in developing successful strategies, campaigns, and brand programs, such as influencer marketing.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to turn insights into actionable brand strategies.
  • Deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape, including social media platforms, content marketing, and analytics tools.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for brand storytelling and the ability to craft compelling narratives that engage and motivate audiences.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex strategies to a variety of stakeholders, including senior executives, partners, and team members, fostering an environment of transparency and collaboration.
Salary Range: $188,000 - $220K
The expected salary range for this role is based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is also eligible for the Fanatics Commerce annual bonus program and an equity award.
