About Farber Specialty Vehicles:

Farber Specialty Vehicles boasts a dedicated team of over 150 full-time employees who leverage cutting-edge technology to design and manufacture custom specialty vehicles. These vehicles are tailor-made by a team of electrical and mechanical engineers to meet each customer's unique needs. We use Auto Cad and SolidWorks computer-aided design software to craft interiors and body shells. Our factory is equipped with state-of-the-art CNC machines, presses, and HVAC equipment. FSV custom manufactures on various platforms, including Freightliner, International, Ford, Prevost, and Sprinter. Our work encompasses a wide range of fields, including emergency management, medical, laboratories, and educational vehicles. We hold ISO certification to ensure top-notch quality.

Job Summary:

The RV Technical Advisor will assist customers and provide support regarding vehicles built by Farber Specialty Vehicles.

Responsibilities and Daily Functions:

• Troubleshoot with customers and shops to resolve problems.
•  Research parts needed for warranty and sales.
• Create sales orders to ship parts and invoices.
• Locate shops for customers to take care of warranty repairs.
• Create purchase orders and pay shops for repairs.
• Provide missing documentation. Blueprints, manuals, etc.
• Order broken or missing parts (Freightliner, Ford, Winnebago).

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years' experience in customer service preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly provide work direction and communication.
• In-depth knowledge of customer service software, databases, and CRM tools.
• In-depth knowledge of carpentry, metal fabrication, and electrical practices as they apply to specialty vehicles.
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Work Hours

• Monday- Friday: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
