Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce (FMWF Chamber) is Hiring a Graphic Designer Near Fargo, ND

POSITION OBJECTIVE AND PURPOSE

The Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber is seeking a creative and motivated individual to help our communications and marketing team deploy branding initiatives across various mediums, including print, digital and multimedia. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing creative solutions that effectively communicate our brand message and objectives. This role requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional creativity, and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality design assets that meet project goals and deadlines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Develop and execute innovative design concepts, layouts, and artwork for print collateral, digital assets, advertising campaigns, and multimedia projects.

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements, target audience, and brand guidelines, ensuring design solutions align with strategic objectives.

· Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from conception to completion, while adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.

· Utilize industry-leading design software and tools to create visually engaging graphics, illustrations, and other design elements.

· Stay current with design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually enhance design quality and effectiveness.

· Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on all design deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand compliance.

· Communicate effectively with teammates and vendors to present design concepts, gather feedback, and address revisions as needed.

· Assist in the development, maintenance and growth of brand identity guidelines, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and channels.

· Collaborate with external agencies, printers, and vendors to coordinate production schedules and oversee the printing and delivery of materials when necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, related field or related experience.

· A minimum of 5 years experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in print, digital, and multimedia design.

· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.

· Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.

· Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate creative briefs into compelling visual solutions.

· Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to producing high-quality work under tight deadlines.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present ideas to stakeholders.

· Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

· Experience in motion graphics, video editing, or 3D modeling is a plus.
