SCHEDULE: Full Time
TRAVEL REQUIRED: 0% - 25%
COMPENSATION: $87,428.00 to $169,806.00 base salary plus potential for variable compensation. Base pay is determined by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Farm Credit Mid-America/Rural 1st may compensate outside of the salary range for bona fide reasons not related to membership in a protected class.
About Our OpportunityOur IT Project Manager collaborates with the IT Infrastructure and Operations teams, in addition to other IT teams and stakeholders to organize and drive projects and initiatives that enable all employees at Farm Credit Mid-America to produce the best possible results for customers.
How You Will Spend Your Time
  • Manage all aspects of IT departmental projects, from inception through project closure, ensuring that project management methodology is applied to all phases of the project lifecycle. This will include overall project and stakeholder communications, facilitating planning sessions to determine and drive project tasks, and developing overall timelines associated with project requirements.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects with interdependent elements. This will include providing oversight to support and coordinate project-level activities to ensure goals and deliverables are met.
  • Analyze, plan, and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects.
  • Directing, negotiating, and managing conflict resolution to ensure that cross-functional IT team members, often with disparate priorities, remain focused on project objectives.
  • Developing a communications plan and format to ensure timely notifications and updates are delivered to key stakeholders. Along with timely and detailed, routine project status updates and reports. Serve as the point of contact for project related inquiries and requests.
  • Maintains quality service by monitoring and emphasizing organization standards throughout project execution.
  • Represent and communicate the mission and values of Farm Credit Mid-America and abide by its conduct policy, security policy and confidentiality expectations.
Minimum Education & ExperienceTypical Incumbent will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, operations or a related field and 2 to 3 years of experience in the Information Technology field, in a Project Manager role or in an IT Project Manager role.
Mental & Physical RequirementsWhile engaged in this position, team members will routinely sit, use hands for tasks, and communicate orally. Standing or walking is frequently required, while occasional demands include reaching with hands and arms, and lifting or moving up to ten pounds. Vision requirements encompass close and distance vision. The work environment typically has a moderate noise level. This role may entail a blend of mental and physical capabilities, requiring strong mental acuity, problem-solving skills, and occasional physical tasks such as standing, lifting, or extended computer usage. Some roles may require physical or mental requirements related to driving, such as a valid driver's license, and the ability to drive a long-distance.
