We are looking for a passionate, team-oriented, fastidious manager to run service, lead staff development and invest in the growth of a small but growing brand.

By day, we are NYC’s farmers market grocery delivery service. By night, our Bushwick warehouse transforms into a welcoming dining experience, offering the same ethically sourced food we deliver for folks to enjoy in the neighborhood.

We are continuing to evolve and we need someone who is flexible with change and eager to try new things.

This is a service-heavy role, but will also include some administrative duties (reservations, booking private parties, interfacing with event clients) as well as training and developing the FOH staff.

In partnership with ownership and the kitchen team, the Front of House Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the establishment including all events (weddings, mitzvahs and more) and providing leadership to all FOH employees.

Expectations :

• Lead our FOH team in all day-to-day operations including large scale events, ensuring that they deliver our standard of hospitality and service.
• With the management team, you will be expected to revisit and revise our current steps of service as needed, to ensure a balance between system efficiency and profitability.
• Communicating in a manner that is calm, patient, and direct is as important as the policies and directions you choose to implement.
• You will be responsible for communication with the kitchen to ensure service and events run smoothly.
• Identify and recruit diverse and committed employees, ensuring that their training and time management is on par with our standards.
• Maintain a dining-room and work environment that promotes friendliness and generosity.
• Join weekly meetings to discuss all policies, service issues, bookings, events and strategies. You will be responsible for making sure that all decisions made during these meetings are followed through on for your team.
• You will also participate in meetings pertaining to P&L, Workflow Productivity, Overall Costing, Payroll budgeting. Together with management, you will be responsible for working toward reaching and quantifying the goals which are set out each month.
• Your regular schedule will be 5 days a week on a 40 hour work week (Wednesday-Sunday), with the occasional jump into coverage if the operation demands it.
