Job Purpose: The Accounting Coordinator's primary responsibility is to ensure customer satisfaction through comprehensive accounting, office, and clerical support. This role ensures that all services to customers are provided efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting/Office Support

• Organize and maintain up-to-date accounts.
• Complete daily balancing and updates for the business.
• Reconcile all customer accounts.
• Verify and mail invoices promptly.
• Complete and send out customer statements.
• Manage accounts payable: verify received parts against invoices, code, make entries, and process payments.
• Enter daily accounting entries.
• Review and balance vendor statements.
• Accurately apply received payments to customer accounts.
• Scan, organize, and maintain files.
• Complete project tasks as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Customer Service

• Respond to inquiries and direct them to the appropriate location or department.
• Handle customer phone calls and walk-in traffic, directing to appropriate personnel.
• Process confidential information appropriately.
• Collaborate with all departments to meet customer needs.

Experience & Educational Requirements:

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with customers in a business-friendly and user-friendly language.
• Proficiency in general mathematical calculations.
• Attention to detail.
• Highly self-motivated and directed.
• Exceptional customer service orientation.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
