Job Description

The Recruiter is responsible for managing all aspects of the recruiting process, from sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring great employees. The successful recruiter will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs.

Salary: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year plus bonus opportunities

Hours: M-F 8:30am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities
  1. Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
  2. Assist in developing and executing recruiting plans to meet staffing goals.
  3. Maintain and update a database of potential candidates for future job openings.
  4. Utilize job boards, social media, and other tools to source potential candidates.
  5. Conduct pre-screening interviews to analyze applicants abilities and fit for the job positions.
  6. Coordinate and facilitate in-person or virtual interviews.
  7. Assist with onboarding new employees.
  8. Continuously explore new recruiting channels and methods to ensure a constant flow of high-quality candidates.
Requirements
  1. Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field is encouraged.
  2. Proven work experience as a Recruiter, either in-house or within a staffing agency is desired.
  3. Strong interviewing skills and familiarity with various interview techniques.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Candidate Management Systems (CMS).
  6. Hands-on experience with recruiting software and job websites.
  7. Must be willing to obtain Illinois Property/Casualty/Life/Health licenses
