Job Description:

FarmHouse Fresh is looking for a detail oriented and experienced accounting specialist to join its team in McKinney TX. In this role, you'll be responsible for the crucial task of accurately updating financial data into our ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This is a vital position that ensures the integrity and accuracy of our financial data.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily data entries in Business Central, including vendor invoices, customer payments, and credit card transactions.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
• Scan and file financial and compliance documents.
• Collect and log sales reps’ sales and commission data.
• Synchronize and reconcile Shopify sales data and post invoices into Business Central.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of all entered data.
• Collaborate with team members to contribute to the overall efficiency of the accounting process.
• Maintain and update documentation of procedural changes and data management practices.
• Participate in regular data verification and cleanup to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Team-oriented mindset and the capacity to work collaboratively to meet tight deadlines.
• 2 years of accounting and data entry experience
• Prior experience with Business Central or comparable ERP systems is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, capable of manipulating data and employing data validation techniques to ensure accuracy.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field is a plus.
