Farnsworth Group is seeking a Project Administrator in our Phoenix, AZ office. Successful candidates will be very detailed oriented, self-motivated, and possess strong communication skills both written and verbal. This position is a very "team focused", requiring the ability to work and communicate within a group environment on a daily basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
Job Activities:
  • Support PM's in development of workplans and resource planning.
  • Document control and quality assurance/control for a variety of complex documents.
  • Folder and file management, badging, permissions/access, prepare deliverables/formatting.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project workflows.
  • Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and minute-taking, ensuring effective communication among team members.
  • Assist facilitation of the project life cycles, including milestone deliverable preparations and delivery, bid submittal, RFIs and project closeout.
  • Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Organize and maintain project files and databases.
  • Prioritize and coordinate multiple projects to ensure deadlines are met.
Specific Requirements include:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 5-15 years related experience (experience working on construction projects preferred).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and proven organizational abilities required; along with the ability to assign priority, meet and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team in support of common goals.
  • Flexibility to adjust between various tasks to meet PM's requests while setting and managing deadlines.
  • Ability to travel to the project site as required.
  • Experience utilizing enterprise resources planning software is a plus.
  • Proven communication, organization, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
