Farther is Hiring a Manager, Advisor Transition Operations Near Dallas, TX

As the Manager of Advisor Transitions, you will play a key role in delivering a world-class wealth management experience for Farther advisors and clients as they transition into Farther. You’ll support that exceptional client experience by flawlessly executing the financial operations required for advisor & client onboarding. You will own the process as it exists today and grow the function to be more efficient, effective, and to an ever growing standard of excellence over time. Responsibilities

  • Manage transitions for Wealth Advisors that will be moving their book of business into Farther’s RIA
  • Responsible for managing the workflow of multiple conversions, maintaining a strong band of communication between all internal business partners, and providing superior customer service.
  • Act as the key relationship manager for Farther advisors and clients by providing timely and accurate responses to inquiries via email, phone, and other communication channels
  • Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with Farther advisors, custodians, and third-party vendors to ensure Advisor & Client satisfaction

Qualifications

  • 8 years experience in Wealth Advisory and Financial Services
  • Excellent external and internal client communication and strong business writing skills
  • Execute, follow-up and proactively communicate status of work performed to internal and external business partners
  • Identify potential risk situations for each transition deal
  • Must be able to manage your own workflow AND the workflow of your team with limited supervision
  • Support positive relationships between the advisor, client, and custodians through successful internal partnerships
  • Previous experience with conversions or leading advisors through transitions
  • Strong knowledge of Schwab/Fidelity/Pershing products, industry regulations, and Advisor Services procedures/practices
  • Experience in delivering professional presentations to both large and small groups
  • Must be proficient in MS Word. Excel, and AS operational/technical functions
  • Must be flexible and have ability to travel up to 20%
  • Team player, with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks

Preferred

  • A valid and active FINRA Series 7/63 license
  • A valid and active FINRA Series 9/10
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial products, including separately managed accounts (SMAs) and alternative investments
  • Passion for creating increased efficiencies within current operational processes for the business and servicing of clients
