Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Engineer at Fasco, Inc. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for quality engineering, quality control, quality assurance, product quality, and quality management. The role will involve day-to-day tasks related to maintaining and improving quality standards, performing quality audits and inspections, conducting root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 certification.

Qualifications

• Quality Engineering, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Product Quality, and Quality Management skills
• Experience in maintaining and improving quality standards.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 certification requirements
• Knowledge of AIAG requirements / programs (PPAP, PFD, CP, FMEA, MSA and Minitab.
• Corrective / preventative action experience (8D, 5 Why, Fault Tree, Etc)
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Understanding of measurement methods (Metrology)
• Knowledge of Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in the fastener or manufacturing industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred but not required
