The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), part of the State University of New York and an internationally renowned college of art, design, business and technology with a strong emphasis on liberal arts, invites nominations and applications for a Project Manager/ Information Systems Specialist.
Job Description:
At the Fashion Institute of Technology, the HR Information Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining HR information systems and confidential records. The subject matter expert will lead employment-related data acquisition, analysis, and consultation for the operations of HR including collective bargaining agreement administration, grievance processing, arbitration, legal compliance, workforce planning, and other related initiatives. Will develop business and technical requirements, configure and customize systems, design and build reports and queries, and perform testing and quality assurance. This position will report to HR and indirectly to IT to ensure access to IT resources, training, and for the assignment of tasks to support the technology systems and related needs of Human Resources.

Salary Schedule:
$93,822.26 (Minimum) - $135,565.52 (Maximum)*
*This is a confidential salaried exempt position. Starting salary is commensurate with experience. Annual step increase after one year of service and annually thereafter until maximum of range is reached. There are 10 steps from minimum to maximum of range.
Work Schedule
Days/Hours: M-F, 9am-5pm, primarily in person; flexibility for hybrid work schedule possible. All scheduling is based on needs of the department.
