Fast 5 Xpress is Hiring a Facilities Technician Near Norwalk, CA
Fast5Xpress is a successful fast-growing Car Wash company with 24 locations. We are looking for Facilities Technicians with strong technical backgrounds in either Electrical, Plumbing, Welding, or HVAC. This job will be performed at different locations. Should live near Norwalk, Pico Rivera, Santa Fe Springs, Costa Mesa, Garden Grove, Fullerton, Santa Ana, or nearby surrounding areas.
The Facilities Technician is responsible for overseeing the equipment of multiple washes and making sure equipment is running smoothly and effectively. Candidates must be comfortable working with voltages ranging from 24VAC to 480VAC. Candidates with previous commercial equipment experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
2 Years Facilities technician experience required.
Experience with replacing Motors (9Lead & 12Lead)
Familiar with the mechanics of swapping and installing gearboxes / bearings / shafts
Has been trained in programming and or installing VFD's , PLC's, Soft Starters, Relays and other methods of Motor Control
Has experience or is willing to learn Hydraulic systems and how they operate
Has experience or is willing to learn Pneumatic systems and how they operate
Has experience or is willing to learn Plumbing systems installation, and troubleshooting
Has experience or is willing to learn CCTV systems trouble shooting and installation
Must be self-motivated and self-driven.
Must be willing to train co-workers and car wash personnel.
Must have reliable transportation to get to a wash location when company vehicles are not available. (Gas will be reimbursed / provided).
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience working with Commercial equipment
- Familiar with hand tools and power tools
- Active Driver’s License
- Background Check

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to wet conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Will be working with ladders, should be comfortable with heights. There will be high voltage electricity, must be comfortable working with high voltage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
