Job Description

Position SummaryThe Director of Performance Excellence will lead FastMed’s improvement initiatives to drive improved quality, operational, and financial performance at all levels of the organization. The Director will be a strategic thought partner and will lead strategic initiatives sponsored by the company’s Executive Leadership Team. Lead cross functional work streams, drive improved operations, scalability, efficiency, and performance to support the delivery of high-quality services.Duties and Responsibilities

Provides leadership and fosters a culture of innovation using change management methodologies.
Identify key strategic issues impacting operational workflow and present articulate impactful solutions.
Own the execution and implementation of high impact initiatives, including project management and process improvement.
Perform detailed analysis documenting current business processes, operational and staffing models, and industry best practices to complete both quantitative and qualitative analysis that identify opportunities for performance improvement and optimization.
Compose project plans, works streams, and progress tracking.
Communicate results, timelines and status, to executive leadership team.
Provide guidance and recommendations to ensure alignment with operational strategy and delivery with measurable results.
Drive performance excellence initiatives across a diverse set of services, employees, and geographies resulting in tangible quality, operational, and financial improvement.
Provide direction and leadership to assigned direct reports; establish developmental plan.

Experience, Skills and Education

Capable of leading cross-functional teams at a high level.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field; graduate level degree preferred.
7-10 years combination project management, change management experience.
Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with a high degree of initiative
Experience working in health systems or healthcare related field.
