Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Customer Service Representative to join the team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the mission and committed to providing exceptional support to our donors, partners, and beneficiaries. This role is critical in ensuring a positive experience for everyone who interacts with Heifer International.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to inquiries from donors, partners, and beneficiaries at daily fundraising events.
  • Provide accurate information about Heifer International's programs, initiatives, and donation processes.
  • Resolve issues and complaints efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Document and track customer interactions and feedback using our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent and accurate information is provided to customers.
  • Assist with donor relations activities, including thank-you calls, fundraising events, follow-ups, and engagement initiatives.
  • Support fundraising campaigns and events by providing excellent customer service to participants.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve the customer service experience.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a nonprofit or social enterprise environment is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize with and understand the needs of diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for Heifer International's mission and a commitment to making a difference in the world.
  • Reliable transportation is a plus.
