FastTek Global is Hiring a Remanufacturing Operations Coordinator Near Peachtree, GA

Basic Function
  • Responsible for planning and performing daily activity related to processing customer parts orders, data entry, data analysis, tracking cores, customs compliance and related support to the Field Quality / Service Department.
  • Includes responsibility of scheduling said activities to cover changes in daily workload.
Education
  • Four-year college degree in management, business, education, operations, industrial or a related field and two (2) year related operations experience or a minimum of four (4) years related operations coordination experience required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Must be able to develop/manage effective relationships with suppliers and internal departments.
  • Automotive Industry experience would be a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Windows based databases as appropriate to the position and assignment.

  • Must have the ability to learn computer applications as necessary for the position.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail, organizational skills, priority and time management skills.
  • Must successfully complete any training or certification courses required to support or strengthen position.
  • Must have the ability to read, interpret, and follow verbal and written instructions, work procedures and other related materials.
Communications
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must communicate appropriate information accurately and clearly as needed.
  • Must have the ability to effectively and appropriately interface and communicate with a variety of individuals or groups on a frequent basis.
Management
  • No management oversight required for this position
Travel
  • Ability to travel as required for the position.
Quality Procedures
  • Review procedures, materials, or processes to assure compliance to all specifications and standards.
  • Comply with and enforce all procedures and work instructions.
  • Respond to quality and work issues and take corrective action as appropriate.
  • Has the organizational authority to identify and segregate, as necessary, suspect or non-conforming material (for example components, saleable product, specifications, controlled documents, etc.) and to notify the appropriate authority (manager, etc.) for instructions.
  • Supports the Parts Planner as assigned for inventory counting and reconciliation, packing, materials procurement and
  • other supplies.
  • Provides input and required reports to management related to materials movement and other areas of responsibility.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Interprets and complies with Company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Prepares reports, charts, graphs, and other statistical information.
  • Will initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.
Scope And Competency Requirements
  • Performs daily review and publish of the backorders across all OEM/customers and coordinates with key stakeholders, to keep workflow on track.
  • Performs data analysis on operational metrics and provides assessment and background information to the key stakeholders, as part of weekly and monthly metrics review.
  • Assists others in the specific daily tasks and setting of priorities to accomplish the shipping, receiving, data entry, warehouse, and related support to the Service Department.
  • Assists Service accounting with billing, invoicing and customer related inquiries. Duties include the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
  • Obtains accurate information from service shops and other staff members on status of cores.
  • Develops a clear process for receiving and tracking exchange units, to reduce replacement float stock.
  • Prepares forecast by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends and presents weekly to management team.
  • Ensures customs compliance: Works closely with our compliance and legal administrator to ensure product values, taxes and all compliance issues are resolved.
  • Conducts audits of assigned areas to ensure compliance with procedures and instructions. Communicates all concerns in a timely manner to warehouse manager.
  • Interacts directly with the assigned customers regarding order placements and shipment release.
  • Be primary interface and report provider for service-related items to internal departments for any issues with shipments, returns, field failures, etc.
  • Receives incoming shipments and process the materials as appropriate for repair and storage.
  • Takes the appropriate Actions for damaged arriving materials, including management notification and claim preparation.
  • Ensures timely and accurate entry and tracking of all transactions into the materials management system, and other databases/worksheets as required.
  • Identifies potential obstacles and provides solutions and/or corrective actions to prevent any delay in completion of assigned task.
  • Responsible for inventory transaction history as it relates to daily receipts and shipments, maintaining recoverable records to track and confirm transactions.
  • Problem solves and research all inquiries related to product movement.
