We have a client offering a great employment opportunity, seeking to fill an Assembly Production position their manufacturing plant in Cookeville. The ideal candidate will have assembly experience, pays attention to detail, is familiar with quality control and inspection of parts.

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: $15.50 per hour

Schedule: M-F 7AM-4PM

Job Duties:

• To carry out operations defined in the Work Instructions for performing assembly operations to the required Customer Quality defined standards.
• Assembly experience preferred.
• Quality control experience preferred.
• Attention to detail required.
• Learn and perform daily preventative maintenance and minor maintenance as needed.
• Participate and contribute during team meetings.
• Participate in training activities as needs are identified to increase overall skill set.
• Adhere to the Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Take care of the tools, machines and facilities provided to perform job.
• Perform duties to achieve the production schedule to meet customer demands by utilizing good communication skills in a team atmosphere.
• Need to be able to lift at least 20 pounds.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements of the job that include walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, reaching, and grasping.

A valid drivers license is required.
