Retail Customer Service Representative

In-Office role
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8-5, OT as needed

Position Purpose/Summary:

Join Fastwyre as a Retail Customer Service Representative and be a part of a team committed to delivering top-quality service to our communities, customers, and employees. In this role, you'll leverage the latest technological advances to meet our customers' needs in a rapidly evolving global economy. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maximize Revenue Opportunities: Proactively explain and sell Fastwyre’s products and services to meet customer needs and exceed individual, team, and company sales goals.
• Customer Assistance: Provide detailed information to customers regarding applications, installations, and policies for local and long-distance telephone, cable television, and internet services.
• Administrative Duties: Handle administrative tasks related to telephone, cable television, and internet services, including verifying customer information and processing service orders for installations, disconnections, and feature changes.
• Billing Support: Assist customers with billing questions, determine deposits, and approve credit memos in accordance with Fastwyre policies and procedures. Manage credit deposit information and payment options for overdue accounts.
• Special Projects: Contribute to special projects as assigned, demonstrating initiative and teamwork.
• Customer Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional customer service by effectively communicating and resolving customer inquiries.

Knowledge, Abilities, & Skills for Success:

• Effective Communication: Communicate positively and professionally in all interactions with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using computer programs, including Microsoft Office Suite, and adaptable to learning new software and processes.

• Regulatory Compliance: Understand and comply with Fastwyre’s Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) regulations and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 years in customer service or sales. Basic knowledge of telephony and cable television is preferred.
