Production Painter Position Summary :

Production Painter will be responsible for preparing the powder paint, and painting variety of surfaces including, Steel, Aluminum, and other shop coated metal, uncoated metal, finished hardware, accessories and other surfaces as specified.

Material preparation such as sand blasting, cleaning, dipping, masking, among other techniques is required. The job responsibility will include a drive for continuous improvement in quality, safety and ability to meet demanding deadlines.

Production Painter Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure parts prepared for painting
• Blueprint reading to mask parts
• Removing parts paint line or paint racks
• Quality checking parts
• Touch up parts as needed
• Follow safety guidelines

Production Painter Qualifications:

• Must have a min of 1 year in powder coating painting experience
• Technical knowledge of paint equipment and the processes
• Experience knowledge of using calipers
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings
• 1 year of manufacturing experience is preferred
• Ability to check parts before and after to verify part quality
• High School diploma or G.E.D required
• Must be able to work Saturdays if required
