Favor is Hiring a Sr. Manager, DEIB and Talent Near Austin, TX

We are looking for a Sr. Manager of DEIB and Talent at Favor, who will lead the Talent teams which are responsible for the full life cycle of Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, DEIB and Employee Experience. These teams are passionate about making sure Favor has best in class employer branding, team member and candidate engagement and experience, learning and development, talent inclusive processes, reward and recognition programs and succession planning. In this role, you will own the strategy, programming and execution of all programs and processes related to attracting, retraining and developing diverse talent throughout the organization and will work in tandem with our People Business Partner leader to gain feedback about the organization and continue to grow these areas to meet the needs of the business. We are looking for candidates in the Austin area with the ability to work from the office at least two or more days per week and on short notice as needed.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of managers and associates in holistic DEIB and talent strategies across the entire employee lifecycle
  • Manage the company-wide strategy for attracting, retaining and developing diverse talent
  • Collaborate with People Operations leaders to manage, define and execute strategies for talent management processes including annual Performance Assessment processes, Talent Assessment, Succession Planning and Performance Improvement Plan Processes
  • Manage, define and execute strategies for Talent Acquisition including best practices for sourcing, recruiting, onboarding, employer branding and the overall candidate experience
  • Own strategy and decision making for culture initiatives including Favor Future business updates, reward and recognition programs and employee engagement initiatives
  • Collaborate with and consult business leaders to develop learning solutions to enable business success and team member development needs
  • Collaborate closely with the PeopleOps Manager to ensure all processes, policies, and procedures have the intended outcome within the organization, and to create new processes, policies, and procedures that meet the needs of the organization as a whole
  • Manage budget and vendors related to all DEIB and Talent programs and tools
  • Train, coach and provide feedback to all Talent Acquisition and Talent and Experience team members
  • Oversee, support and amplify Favor’s ERG programs and Impact and inclusion Council. Collaborate with co-chairs on various initiatives, learning opportunities, etc.
  • Serve as the liaison between Favor People Operations, Public Relations and H-E-B to define and execute Favor’s community partnership/investment strategy
  • Define key performance indicators for each team, including DEIB metrics and OKR’s, regularly review department metrics and performance, proactively identify and interpret trends and propose improvements to meet business needs
  • Drive new and amplify existing DEI strategies and methodologies
Skills You Have
  • 8 years of experience in HR
  • 3 years experience in a leadership role
  • 3 years in implementing DEIB strategies
  • Previous experience leading a Recruiting organization
  • High level of competency in talent management and development best practices
