Job Overview:
The Human Resources Generalist works closely with the location’s management and corporate HR team. This position carries out responsibilities in talent acquisition, on-boarding, compensation and benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, health, safety, workers compensation and employment law compliance.
Responsibilities:
· Coordinate all recruiting efforts including internal and external job postings, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, completing background checks and follow-up.
· Administer on-boarding process, tracking applicant progress, conducting orientation, completing E-Verify for I-9 documentation.
· Communicate effectively with employees at all levels to promote understanding of compensation and benefits programs, policies, and changes.
· Provide support in the comprehensive analysis of compensation data, including participation in salary surveys, market trends, and internal pay equity.
· Assist in compensation projects such as evaluation and benchmarking of job positions, and maintain of salary structures, pay bands, and incentive programs.
· Development of compensation communication and education programs designed to increase workforce knowledge on total rewards strategy and initiatives.
· Communicate company policies and procedures to all employees in the location and enforce company standards.
· Conduct employee investigations as needed, ensure consistent application of policy, coach and mentor managers and salaried/hourly employees on best practices.
· All other duties as assigned by General Manager and/or Corporate HR Director.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or any other relevant field.
· At least 3 years of professional experience specializing in recruiting and compensation administration.
· Professional certification in HR, Compensation or Benefits (e.g. PHR, CCP, CBP, CPM, or CPP).
· Highly proficient in Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
· HRIS experience (Paycom, Kronos, ADP, or other HRIS).
· Bilingual in Spanish required.
Reports to: General Manager, functionally to Corporate HR Director.
